COVID-19 and Safety Practices
Food Safety Practices:
We are proud to operate out of a shared commercial kitchen space located within the Ennovation Center (check out the EC here- a fantastic community resource supporting small business and local entrepreneurs!). We are compliant and in good standing with local health code and regulatory agencies, and take pride in our health and safety practices. Our employees are trained and certified in food handling safety. Your safety is our priority, and we've taken great care in developing processes to exceed expectations and provide an exceptional product.
Our service is considered to be very low-risk for COVID-19 transmission. Science has shown that the greatest risk of COVID-19 transmission comes through airborne particles and droplets. Surface transmission appears to be negligible, however we are taking several precautions at this time:
hand washing- as always, employees are required to wash hands often, and always before handling any product.
gloves- employees are required to wear gloves when handling any product (and wash hands prior).
masks- employees are required to wear masks at all times in the kitchen.
contactless delivery- our delivery drivers will make every attempt to avoid contact when delivering your meals. Drivers will send an 'otw' text to let you know when to expect your order, and will leave your meals by your door for pick-up. Please let us know if you require other arrangements to be made.
bag/ice sanitization- bags and ice are sanitized immediately upon return, using products and methods recommended by our local health department.
